Jiangsu Youpu Biochemical Technology Co., Ltd. The main products of Youpu Biology include glycine derivatives: Glycine methyl ester hydrochloride, glycine ethyl ester hydrochloride; Benzene chloride: p-chlorotoluene, o-chlorotoluene, 3.4 dichlorotoluene, 2.4 dichlorotoluene; Fluorination and aniline: p-trifluoromethylaniline, 2.6-dichloro-4-trifluoromethylaniline, p-chlorotrifluoromethyltoluene, arylpyrazonitrile, etc. Upu Bio's products not only enjoy a high reputation in China and have a large user base, but also are exported to countries and regions such as Asia, Europe, the Americas, Australia, and have established long-term friendly cooperative relationships with large multinational companies such as BASF and Bayer.

The premise for Upu Biology to pursue sustainable and high-quality development is to prioritize safety and environmental protection, adhere to the principle of green first, and advocate the use of environmentally friendly and energy-saving processes. Actively responding to the national call to eliminate high energy consumption and high pollution process equipment, adopting advanced environmental protection technology and equipment, and making reducing the emissions of "three wastes" the primary task of improving ecological environment protection.
Through continuous experiments and improvements on the three waste disposal process of existing products, a comprehensive treatment workshop has been built to treat and recycle the process wastewater of 2.6-dichloro-4-trifluoromethylaniline and arylpyrazonitrile. The process of adding alkali to the wastewater for deamination has been cancelled, and the deamination tower has been dismantled, greatly reducing the production of wastewater and exhaust gas, resulting in a 50% reduction in the original wastewater discharge. The emission reduction effect is very obvious. In the production of the main product of Upu Bio, arylpyrazonitrile, the desolved residue is distilled to recover ethanol, and the remaining distillation residue such as diethyl carbonate and urethane is entrusted for solid waste treatment. Through extensive preliminary research and demonstration by the R&D team of Upu Biology, a feasibility analysis was conducted on the resource utilization project of arylpyrazonitrile distillation residue. Diethyl carbonate and urethane were extracted from it, reducing the production of hazardous waste while increasing economic benefits, achieving the goal of resource utilization and reduction of hazardous waste. In order to reduce the generation and emission of waste gas, the new No. 1 RTO waste gas incinerator has been installed. After normal operation, the total non methane hydrocarbons after organic waste gas incineration are only about 2mg/m3. Compared with the standard of 80mg/m3, the results are significant. The normal operation of the RTO waste gas incinerator has changed the problems of incomplete activated carbon adsorption, substandard adsorption, and large solid waste in the past, marking a new step in the treatment of organic waste gas by Upu Biological, This project also passed the completion acceptance of the provincial-level ecological environment protection guidance fund subsidy project and received a provincial-level subsidy of 1.3 million yuan. In order to effectively collect and treat the ammonia gas generated during the production process, Upu Biological has developed a new ammonia compression system to recover most of the ammonia gas. After technical comparison with multiple waste gas incinerator manufacturers and on-site investigation of existing ammonia incineration manufacturers, Upu Biological has built a new No. 2 RTO waste gas incinerator (mainly for ammonia, aniline and other waste gases) to ensure that all inorganic gases meet the emission standards.
Upu Biology not only attaches great importance to the hardware investment in ecological environment protection, but also makes generous investment in the construction of ecological environment talent team. Upu Biotechnology has hired five professors and postdoctoral fellows from Tianjin University, and has established friendly cooperation units and research bases with multiple higher education institutions such as Nanjing University, Tsinghua University, Southeast University, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, and China Pharmaceutical University, as well as research units such as Tianjin Junkai Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. and Kaimei Tech (Tianjin) Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., establishing long-term industry university research cooperation relationships, Continuously providing technical support for product development and process innovation.
The Youpu Biotechnology Center has been recognized as the Jiangsu Province Fluoromethylbenzene Series Pesticide Intermediate Engineering Technology Research Center, mainly engaged in new product development, process innovation and optimization, energy conservation and emission reduction, and other aspects of work. The technical center currently has a total of 73 R&D personnel, management and service personnel, including 8 doctoral students, 3 master's students, 24 undergraduate students, and 22 associate degree students. The proportion of associate degree and above personnel is 78.08%.
In 2018, Upu Biotechnology jointly developed five projects, including the luminescent initiator 184, with Kaimeitek (Tianjin) Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. and Jinding (Shanghai) Chemical Technology Service Center. Over the years, Upu Biology has obtained a total of 9 national invention patents, 6 products have passed provincial appraisal, 4 projects have been included in provincial and national torch development plans, and 5 products have been rated as high-tech products and national key new products in Jiangsu Province. National key new products.
While continuously introducing technical talents, Upu Biology has increased its internal talent cultivation efforts and improved its employees' professional knowledge and literacy. Upu Biotechnology actively carries out academic exchange activities. In 2019, it invited industry experts to train 5 times, participated in various technical exchange activities 5 times, and contacted relevant universities to train some technical backbone. It selected outstanding employees to participate in university professional knowledge training and obtained undergraduate or associate degree, which not only improves the professional and technical level of employees, but also serves as an incentive system.
